How Safe Is Your Smart Phones

January 28, Celebrated as the US Data Privacy Day (it’s also the European Data Protection Day) - Events Being Organized To Understand Consumer Behaviors and Perceptions of Mobile Security.

Are people really concerned about giving security to their mobiles?

People today own all sorts of exclusive smart phones which can fulfill all their needs. They own the latest edition of phones which has all the features. But, when we ask them about the security of their phone they usually give you a blank expression probably they would have never given a thought about giving security to their smart phone. There are a lot of mobile security software’s available which protect the data stored in mobile phones. But unfortunately many people are not aware of this security application.

In a survey conducted it was seen that people owning good smart phones were more worried about their passwords getting leaked rather than their office work which is quite surprising. How can people be more worried about their passwords being unsafe than their important office information which can put their job in threat?

This clearly shows that business professionals and other people owning Smartphone’s first use it for their personal use and give secondary preference for their official work. There are people owning phones who are not at all aware about mobile secure. Also they are not aware about the security service that has the ability to give good privacy to all their personal and official data. In a general survey it was seen that men were more worried about their general security phone threats and women were more worried about their phone’s privacy matters. This shows that men are concerned only about matters they feel are important.

Overall we can come to a conclusion that people are concerned about securing mobile but then they lack knowledge about the mobile security software. Thus people owning good phones must make it a point to know all details about protecting their phone so that they need not worry in future.
